Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ClinicSpark. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the site.
1) Directory-only service (not a medical provider)
ClinicSpark is an information and discovery platform. We provide a directory of dental-led facial aesthetics providers and related educational content. We are not a clinic, prescriber, or healthcare provider. We do not diagnose conditions, provide treatment, or give personal medical advice. Any decision about care must be made directly with an appropriately qualified clinician.
2) No endorsement or guarantee of practitioners
Listing on ClinicSpark does not mean we endorse, recommend, or guarantee a practitioner, clinic, treatment plan, or outcome. We aim to present factual listing information and trust indicators, but provider standards and services can change over time. Users must independently verify credentials, suitability, and safety before booking any procedure.
3) Regulatory and advertising standards context
ClinicSpark content is written for compliance-aware education. In the UK, non-surgical cosmetic treatments are subject to evolving regulation and professional standards. From October 2025, CQC registration requirements apply in relevant contexts for non-surgical cosmetic practice activity in England. Providers remain solely responsible for understanding and complying with all legal and regulatory obligations that apply to their services.
All providers and advertisers are also expected to comply with applicable advertising standards, including ASA/CAP rules on social responsibility, evidence, and non-misleading claims. Any promotional claims, before/after imagery, or pricing statements are the responsibility of the provider who publishes them.
4) Independent verification and patient safety
Patient safety should come first. You should independently verify GDC registration, and where relevant, check CQC status and other accreditation bodies before proceeding. ClinicSpark may display verification signals and “in progress” statuses to improve transparency, but these should never replace your own due diligence.
5) Accuracy of information
We aim to keep listings accurate and current; however, information may be incomplete, delayed, or out of date. Practice addresses, websites, contact details, services offered, and accreditation status can change without notice. You agree that it is your responsibility to confirm details with the provider directly before relying on them.
6) Permitted use
You may use ClinicSpark for lawful personal or business research purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the site for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity.
- Attempt to interfere with security, uptime, or data integrity.
- Scrape or republish substantial content in breach of applicable law.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent professional credentials.
7) Practitioner submissions and claims
If you submit listing updates, claim a practice profile, or provide accreditation details, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to submit it. We may request supporting evidence and may reject, amend, or remove content at our discretion to maintain data quality and legal compliance.
8) Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, ClinicSpark content, branding, and site design are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit site content without permission, except as allowed by law.
9) Third-party links and services
The site may link to third-party websites and tools. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, terms, privacy practices, or service availability. Visiting external links is at your own risk.
10) Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClinicSpark and its operators exclude liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from or related to use of the site. This includes, without limitation, loss arising from reliance on listing information, provider conduct, treatment outcomes, business interruption, or external website content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClinicSpark against claims, liabilities, damages, and costs arising from your misuse of the site, breach of these Terms, or unlawful content submitted by you.
12) Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to all or part of the site where necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.
13) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
