ClinicSpark is an independent UK directory dedicated to helping patients find qualified, GDC-registered dentists who provide facial aesthetics. We believe safer aesthetic outcomes start with choosing the right practitioner — one with the training, regulation and accountability that the NHS trains into every dentist.

Our Mission

The UK facial aesthetics market is largely unregulated for non-clinical providers. ClinicSpark exists to make the regulated, dentist-led sector easy to find, compare and trust. Every listing on this site is a UK dental practice — staffed by professionals registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Who We Are

ClinicSpark is run by a small UK team working across healthcare research, compliance and digital publishing. Content is produced and maintained by the ClinicSpark Editorial Team. We do not invent named clinicians or assign content to fabricated GDC-registered reviewers, and we do not publish named clinical bylines unless a real practitioner has explicitly agreed to be attributed.

We are not a dental practice and do not provide treatment. We do not accept payment from clinics to influence trust badges — those signals are derived from publicly verifiable regulatory data only. Paid placement is limited to clearly labelled Featured and Premium blocks, explained here.

Editorial Attribution Policy

All directory content, treatment guides and blog articles on ClinicSpark are published under the ClinicSpark Editorial Team byline. We deliberately do not invent named author personas, fabricate GDC registration numbers, or present fictional "clinical reviewers" as a trust signal. This policy exists because the integrity of a UK healthcare directory depends on the verifiability of every name and credential it publishes.

If and when real, consenting clinicians, dentists or regulated healthcare writers contribute to ClinicSpark, their attribution will appear on the specific articles they authored or reviewed, linked to a public regulator entry (for example the GDC register).

Our Editorial Process

• Sourcing: Listings are sourced from publicly available data and cross-referenced with the GDC's register, the CQC register, and the Save Face, BACD and BCAM membership lists where applicable.
• Verification: Trust badges (GDC, CQC, Save Face, BACD, BCAM) are assigned only when independently confirmed through the relevant regulator or accreditation body's own public register.
• Content review: Treatment guides and blog posts are fact-checked against UK regulatory sources (GDC, CQC, ASA/CAP, MHRA) before publication and reviewed periodically.
• Compliance: All content follows ASA/CAP guidelines for cosmetic procedure advertising. We do not use before-and-after imagery, do not make efficacy claims, and treat botulinum toxin as a prescription-only medicine throughout.
• Updates: Listings are reviewed periodically. Practitioners can claim their listing to correct or update their information.
• Corrections: If you spot an inaccuracy, please contact us. We log corrections transparently.

How We Verify Listings

• Cross-reference with the GDC's publicly searchable register (gdcuk.org).
• Check CQC registration status via cqc.org.uk for England-based practices.
• Verify Save Face accreditation, BACD membership and BCAM membership where applicable.
• Review clinic websites for treatment scope, stated qualifications and booking pathways.
• Present factual information only — no promotional medical claims, no testimonials, no before/after advertising.

Regulatory Transparency

Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine in the UK. Under the Health and Care Act 2022 (commencement October 2025), CQC registration is required in England for premises offering injectable cosmetic treatments. All practices listed on ClinicSpark are dental practices already subject to CQC or equivalent oversight.

This site complies with the GDC's guidance on ethical advertising and the ASA/CAP rules on cosmetic procedure promotion.
